A friend sent me this article.
If you have ever spent an afternoon watching the lunch crowd and seeing the garbage generated one would easily jump on board for the waste free lunches. It's shocking how much garbage one small school creates at lunch with milk cartons, "lunchables", pudding cups, need I continue? It's a challenge since it's so easy to assemble lunches with prepackaged foods, but it's worth it. Less trash, healthier foods.

I bought one of these Laptop Lunches and I just love it! Seems a little expensive, but once you see how well-though out the product is you will see it is worht every penny!
Barbara Kingsolver has a great essay on this topic called "The Art of Buying Nothing." It's worth checking out. I've noticed a big push among marketers to convince us to buy more things because they're "green" or "eco-friendly." At the end of the day, shouldn't we just consume less whether it's green, pink or otherwise?
This is a well-written and nice blog. Keep posting. pool screen North Port, FL
